Cookie Policy

Last updated: 1 March 2026. This policy explains how Citaition uses cookies on our website and platform.

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They are used to remember preferences, maintain sessions, and understand how you interact with websites. Cookies can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (stored until they expire or you delete them).

Cookies We Use

Essential cookies

These cookies are required for the Platform to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.

Analytics cookies

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Vercel Analytics is privacy-friendly: it does not collect personal data, does not use cookies for tracking across sites, and does not share data with third parties for advertising purposes.

Payment cookies

When you proceed to checkout, Stripe may set cookies to process your payment securely and prevent fraud. These cookies are set by Stripe's embedded payment form and are governed by Stripe's cookie policy.

Third-Party Cookies

  • Stripe — Sets cookies during the checkout and payment process for security and fraud prevention.
  • Supabase — Sets authentication cookies to maintain your login session on the Platform.

We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or any other third-party tracking cookies.

Managing Cookies

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. The method for doing so varies by browser — consult your browser's help documentation for instructions.

Please note that disabling essential cookies (specifically the Supabase authentication cookie) will prevent you from logging in to the Platform. The website will continue to function without cookies, but Platform features requiring authentication will be unavailable.
